# Installing Connectors

> Download and install a Speckle connector.

<Info>Connectors are currently available for **Windows only**.</Info>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create a Speckle Account">
    Go to [speckle.systems](https://app.speckle.systems/) and create an account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download the connector">
    1. Go to [app.speckle.systems/connectors](https://app.speckle.systems/connectors).
    2. Download the connector for your software, such as Revit, Rhino, or Archicad. [See all supported software](https://www.speckle.systems/connectors).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Install the connector">
    <Warning>
      Please ensure that the target software is closed during the installation process.

      Do not use **Run as administrator** to install. This will not install the connector for your user.
    </Warning>

    1. Double-click the downloaded `.exe` or right-click and select **Open** to run the installer.
    2. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
