This is 2026.9 preview documentation. Coverage here is incremental: a page exists only where 2026.9 differs or is newly documented.
Open workspace Settings when a change should apply to the whole workspace. This page is the live map for workspace admins. Current Configuration still covers SSO, SCIM, billing, and roles in depth. This page does not clone those guides. Workspace members can open most settings pages. Only workspace admins can change workspace-level controls. Some items appear only when the plan includes them.
Workspaces are available on Speckle Cloud and on Speckle Enterprise Server. For self-hosted setup, see Enterprise license.

Open Settings

1

Open the workspace

Sign in and open the workspace. The left sidebar shows Home, Projects, Intelligence, Team, and Settings. You should see Settings at the bottom of that list.
2

Open Settings

Select Settings. The sidebar expands to the children below. You should see General first.

Settings map

Items appear in this order. Hidden items are gated by plan or permission, not missing from the product.
  • General — name, short ID, description, and logo. Everyone who can open Settings sees this page. Only admins can save changes.
  • Usage — activity, plan limits, and AI spend. Workspace admins see this item when the plan includes usage analytics. See Usage statistics in 2026.9.
  • Project metadata — fields every project in the workspace can fill out. Workspace admins see this item when the plan includes project metadata. See Projects — metadata.
  • Project labels — labels used to organise projects. See Projects — project labels.
  • Issue labels — labels used on project issues. See Issues — labels.
  • Tokens — workspace share tokens for read-only access to models, presentations, or dashboards. You can revoke one token or Revoke all.
  • Security — discoverability, domain protection, SSO, and related identity controls. See Workspace discoverability, Domain protection, SSO, and SCIM.
  • Billing and plans — plan, payment, and Customer Portal. See Billing.
  • Data residency — where workspace data is stored. See Data residency.
  • Automation — functions available to projects in this workspace, including Regenerate token…. Speckle Automate is available only on Speckle Enterprise Server. For setup, see Enterprise license — Automate. Where Automate lives in the 2026.9 web app is on Automate in 2026.9.
  • Support — support sessions. This item appears when Admin Support Mode is enabled. See Admin Support Mode. On self-hosted servers, that feature is available only on Speckle Enterprise Server. For setup, see Enterprise license — Admin Support Mode.
  • Skills — reusable playbooks for Speckle Intelligence Chat. Members see this item when the plan includes Chat. Create skills here (including Draft with AI), then invoke them in Chat with /skill-name. See Reuse organisation playbooks with Intelligence skills.
  • AI Rules — standing instructions Speckle Intelligence follows in every conversation. Members can open this item; only workspace admins can change rules. See Set standing AI Rules for the workspace.

Project settings stay on the project

Workspace Settings do not replace project settings. Open a project, then Settings, for that project’s General, Webhooks, Tokens, and Automations. Current Configuration still describes project visibility, collaborators, and share tokens.
